Riverside Sheriffs’ Association Endorses General Roth

In momentous endorsement, Riverside County’s frontline Deputies praise General Roth as “the clear choice for public safety”

(Riverside, CA) -- General Richard Roth’s campaign announced the key endorsement of the Riverside Sheriffs’ Association today.

“Riverside County’s frontline deputies who protect and serve our families and neighborhoods are proud to endorse General Richard Roth for re-election to the State Senate,” said Riverside Sheriffs’ Association President Robert Masson.  “General Roth has delivered the resources we need to keep Riverside County safe, and we know he will continue to stand up for law enforcement, families and neighborhoods throughout California.  We are proud to stand with General Roth, the clear choice for public safety.”

The Riverside Sheriffs’ Association represents over 2,900 members across nearly 8,000 square miles in Riverside County.  Its members include public safety officers in the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, Coroner's Office, District Attorney's Office and Probation Department.

General Roth said:  “I am truly honored to receive the endorsement of the Riverside Sheriffs’ Association.  Our Deputies, who put their lives on the line every day to keep our families and communities safe, deserve a champion who will stand up and fight to deliver the resources they need to get the job done.  I am looking forward to continuing to be that champion, standing with the Riverside Sheriffs’ Association and others to make our region an even safer place to live, work and raise our families.”

The endorsement of the Riverside Sheriffs’ Association is the latest in a wave of public safety officials and organizations throwing their support behind General Roth.  They include Riverside County Sheriff Stan Sniff, District Attorney Michael Hestrin, the Riverside Police Officers’ Association, the Corona Police Officers’ Association, the California Statewide Law Enforcement Association, the California Professional Firefighters, the Corona Firefighters Association, the Riverside City Firefighters Association and the California Association of Highway Patrolmen.
