In key endorsement, Sheriff Sniff calls Roth a “true champion for public safety”
(Riverside, CA) -- Senator Richard D. Roth’s campaign announced today that Riverside County Sheriff Stan Sniff has endorsed General Roth for re-election to the State Senate.
“General Roth is a true champion for public safety who works across party lines to protect our families and keep our communities safe,” said Riverside County Sheriff Stan Sniff. “I am proud to endorse General Roth for re-election to the State Senate.”
Sheriff Sniff has served as the 13th Sheriff of Riverside County since October 2, 2007, and oversees public safety and law enforcement operations throughout Riverside County’s 7,300-plus square miles.
“I am truly honored to have the support of Sheriff Stan Sniff,” said Senator Roth. “Sheriff Sniff and I share a fundamental commitment to keeping our families and communities safe, and I look forward to continuing to work with him as we make our region an even safer place to live, work and play.”
The endorsement of Sheriff Sniff, one of Riverside County’s top law enforcement officials, comes early in the 31st Senate District race, and underscores General Roth’s continued commitment to public safety. Last month, Riverside County District Attorney Michael Hestrin, an award-winning prosecutor and Inland Southern California native, also endorsed General Roth, praising his commitment to keeping Riverside County’s families and communities safe.
